Nichole followed me quietly, watching the darkness with wide eyes. We walked past the exit to the outside then soon came to Pirate Cove. I sidled my back against the wall and leaned forward to look around to the front of the curtains. They were still closed. I took a deep steady breath and sneaked in front of the shallow stage. I watched it with my peripheral as I focused my sight on the hallway opening.
Then suddenly, Foxy started singing. I felt chills run down my spine as Nichole surpassed me. I froze for literally only a second and looked straight at the curtain. And in the dark I could see the glow of Foxy's eye staring at me from between the curtains. I didn't realize I wasn't breathing as I fearfully took off full run after Nichole. I came up beside her at the opening of the hallway when she and I both screeched to a halt. Bonnie was just at the other end of the hall. We could barely see him in the light coming from the office. He slowly turned his head and looked at us. Without hesitating, my friend and I darted to the other hall on the other side of the office. Much to our dismay, we saw Chica. I didn't stop to get a look at her. As soon as I saw the yellow of her feathers, I ran past the hall and through the kitchen doors, Nichole right behind me. As we busted in and looked for something to block the doors with, we heard something trip over the pots and pans nearby. My heart dropped as one name came to mind.
"Freddy," I stated matter of factly.
"Guys?" I heard Sommer's voice. "Tori? Nichole? Is that you?"
Sweet relief washed over me. "Oh thank God."
"Sommer!" Nichole said, sounding happier than she had all night. "Thank God we found you!"
"Now we can get out of here," I said.
